If you’re looking for different and exciting shades to ask your Alton painter to decorate your home with next year, look no further than Adeline, Graham & Brown’s Colour of the Year 2020.

It’s a delightfully rich bottle green that works very well with lots of other colours, so you’ll find you have an awful lot of choice to work with and can have huge amounts of fun deciding what you want your living spaces to look like.

The colour was named after Virginia Woolf (her given name) and was launched to compliment the brand’s Bloomsbury Design, with Neo Mint recently named as the Wallpaper of the Year for 2020.

As they say on their website, Neo Mint “captures the delicate designs of the 20th century, Bright, vibrant intertwining florals are at the centrepiece of this airy wallpaper, accompanied by beautiful butterflies in a serene mint setting”.

It’s also having a good browse through the Graham & Brown site itself as it has a How To section with handy guides to help you with the painting and decorating process. Even if you do bring in professional painters, you’re sure to want to do a few jobs yourself and these guides can help make sure you get it right first time.

Also check out Dulux’s Colour of the Year 2020, which it has named as Tranquil Dawn, a cooler toned shade of green that apparently is meant to embody “the nation’s mood on the approach of a new decade” serve as a respite from what is becoming an “increasingly disconnected” society.
